Ellie Tsimbilakis grew up competing in tennis before discovering padel — a sport that immediately captured her with its tactical depth, social energy and unique technical demands.

Since making the switch she has built a reputation as one of the most dedicated padel coaches in the North West. She holds a BPCA certification and remains an active LTA-registered competitive tennis player — a combination that gives her a genuinely rare perspective on how racket sport skills transfer between disciplines.

Her commitment to developing as a coach took her to Valencia, Spain, where she trained under experienced Spanish coaches — experiencing first-hand the technical and tactical methods that make Spanish padel coaching some of the finest in the world. That experience fundamentally shaped her coaching philosophy.

Today Ellie coaches players of all ages and abilities at The Padel Republic in Wallasey — where she serves as Female Head Coach — and at Velocity Padel in Widnes. She is also passionate about building women’s padel, running women-only sessions and creating spaces where female players at every level feel genuinely supported.
